HOW IT WORKS

ENJYN allows you to create a project and give your fans reasons to fund it for you. We are not a magic money fountain! We're just a clever device that allows you to tell your fans about new projects and products, and collect money for them towards a goal.

BEFORE YOU START

Like we said, we're not a magic supply of money. We're just a good way to reach the people who care about seeing you succeed. From our research, you can expect to raise $1-2 for every name on your mailing list. (That's an average - what we found is that about 5% of your fans will donate $40.)

So, if you want to raise $1,000, you should have AT LEAST 500 contacts in your mailing list. And if you want to raise $10,000, you should have at least 5,000 addresses on your list.

1. CREATE A PROJECT

If you haven't already, Sign up and create your fundraiser! We'll guide you through creating the goals and incentives that will motivate your fanbase and get you all the way to your goal.

2. INSTALL

You'll have an ENJYN page like this: LINK

You'll also have a widget that can be embedded directly into your website, your MySpace, and pretty soon, your Facebook page. Check out this site and this MySpace page for examples. This way, your fans can see your project without ever having to leave your website.

3. GET THE WORD OUT

Once you create your fundraiser, you can also create prizes for fans who spread the word about your project. Make sure everyone knows about the cool stuff they could get by supporting their favorite band. Send it out to your mailing list, your MySpace and Facebook friends, and your mom. You should always keep your mom posted. She appreciates it.
